A wide range of community groups in Portishead ensure that a constant flow of activities and events take place throughout the year in the town, with something to appeal to everyone. These range from open gardens weekends and the annual carnival to flower shows, a raft race and spectacular festive illuminations.

Portishead Town Clerk, Martin Salisbury, has stepped down from his full time position with Portishead Town Council but will remain on the staff team in a part-time role.

Residents are invited to the Planning Advisory Group meeting taking place at 7.30pm on Wednesday 4th November. Due to the Coronavirus situation the meeting is being held remotely and can be attended by Microsoft Teams internet link or telephone. Public participants will have the opportunity to make comments on Agenda items at at the beginning of the meeting and are requested to email any questions in advance of the meeting to [email protected]
