A wide range of community groups in Portishead ensure that a constant flow of activities and events take place throughout the year in the town, with something to appeal to everyone. These range from open gardens weekends to flower shows and spectacular festive illuminations. For more information on these community groups and activities, please follow this link.

Town Council Meeting
Past Meeting - 12 December 2018
Members of the public are welcome at the Town Council Meeting in Portishead Folk Hall. There is an opportunity to address the Town Council for up to four minutes in the public speaking section at the beginning of the meeting.
Bus Service - Nore Road X3 and X4
News - 12 December 2018
There is an interruption to the bus service – X3 and X4 – Nore Road for resurfacing works between 09:000 and 17:00 from Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th December.
Mobile Library Service Changes from 7th Jan 2019

The routes and stops for the Mobile library service are reviewed annually to ensure that we are making best use of the vehicle taking account of changing demand for the service and operational requirements.
Planning & Regulatory Committee
Past Meeting - 5 December 2018
Members of the public are welcome at the Planning Committee Meeting in Portishead Folk Hall. There is an opportunity to address the Town Council for up to four minutes in the public speaking section at the beginning of the meeting. Meetings are held in the Folk Hall and start at 7.30pm.
Yellow Lines Trial - Newfoundland / Phoenix Way - Portishead
News - 3 December 2018
North Somerset Council are trialling Yellow Lines on Newfoundland/Phoenix Way for the next six months. Lines were due to be laid week commencing 26th November weather dependent.
