A wide range of community groups in Portishead ensure that a constant flow of activities and events take place throughout the year in the town, with something to appeal to everyone. These range from open gardens weekends and the annual carnival to flower shows, a raft race and spectacular festive illuminations.
Our calendar brings you up-to-date news of these activities and events, along with details of Council meetings and other items of public interest. Just click on the relevant date on the calendar (to the right), for more information and the agenda (usually available 3 days before the meeting).

North Somerset Council are requesting views on the social distancing road closure measures in place on the Lake Grounds Esplanade. Portishead Town Council have today written to North Somerset Council to request the re-opening of the Esplanade to traffic and parking but please have your say by submitting your views through the Sustrans survey, that can be accessed below.

Portishead Town Council has today published its unaudited accounting statements and governance return for the year ended 31 March 2020. These and the accounting records of the council are open for public inspection from Monday 20 July to Friday 28 August 2020.
