A wide range of community groups in Portishead ensure that a constant flow of activities and events take place throughout the year in the town, with something to appeal to everyone. These range from open gardens weekends and the annual carnival to flower shows, a raft race and spectacular festive illuminations.

Members of the public are welcome at the Town Council Meeting in Portishead Folk Hall. There is an opportunity to address the Town Council for up to four minutes in the public speaking section at the beginning of the meeting. Meetings are held in the Folk Hall and start at 7.30pm.

Planning Committee meeting

Past Meeting - 7 December 2016

Portishead Town Council has a Planning & Regulatory Committee. The Planning Committee usually meets once per month on the first Wednesday. Members of the public are free to attend this meeting and make their views known during public participation. Meetings are held in the Folk Hall and start at 7.30pm.
