A referendum on the Portishead Neighbourhood Plan took place on Thursday 20 July 2023.

The Plan passed the referendum as more than 50% of the votes cast were in favour of the Plan, therefore the Neighbourhood Plan now has full weight in decision making. It must now go before North Somerset Council on 19 September in order to be formally "made".
